A Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
The Laurels of Pender is conveniently located just off Interstate 40 and Highway 117 in Burgaw, North Carolina, just across the street from Pender Memorial Hospital. Our 98-bed skilled nursing facility promotes the highest level of care and quality of life for guests who are with us for short-term respite, rehabilitation or hospice care or for extended stays.
Laurel Health Care Company is pleased to invest in the local community by improving the amenities for our guests at The Laurels of Pender. Current plans are underway for extensive renovations to common areas, guest rooms and an expanded rehabilitation gym with state of the art equipment. With this renovation, our therapy resources will be second to none.
Long-tenured staff therapists are available seven days a week, including evenings for our guests’ convenience, and our staff will help guests recover from surgery, an injury or an illness as quickly as possible. We can even do a pre-release home evaluation to identify the services and equipment you'll need for a successful homecoming.
If you plan to make The Laurels of Pender your long-term home, we consider it an honor and a privilege to have you with us in our skilled nursing or assisted living units. Our guests receive excellent daily medical care from our long-standing nursing staff, while the remainder of our staff offers you events, activities and opportunities that keep your life interesting, satisfying and purposeful.
